The Sea Vee Owners’ Tournament  - April 21

What a spectacular day of fishing! I am always surprised at how good, as a group, Sea Vee owners are. Every year the fishing is better and better.

Needless to say the fish of the day was a beautiful 51.05# bull dolphin. The crowd at Bayside was amazed as the guys on "It's Never Enough" pulled up with this beast. Their stay atop the "Big Fish" division was short lived.

The "new" fish of the days was about to be hoisted up on the scales. "Diversification" hauled a SLOB kingfish out of their bag. It tipped the scales at 66.65 pounds! This is the biggest kingfish I have seen in photos or in person.

But this tournament wasn't only about "single biggest fish." It's run as a total of the teams' heaviest 6 fish. A familiar name was in the #1 position: Native Son with a total of 176.35 pounds. That's an average of almost 30# per fish and they were 55 pounds ahead of the #2 boat, "Kimbuktu" who posted a respectable 120 pounds.
